About Us
WHITEHIDE was formed in 2003 by an antique dealer who was intrigued by the idea of printing onto leather, and a product designer who got caught up in all of the excitement. We began working almost immediately with various museums on products...journals, address books, keyrings and bookmarks...for their shops. Things began to snowball pretty quickly and soon we were making stationery for clients such as The British Museum, The National Gallery, English Heritage, Canterbury Cathedral, The National Portrait Gallery, The Royal Horticultural Society and The Royal Collection, as well as The Metropolitan Opera in New York and The Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford-upon-Avon.
This was all incredibly exciting and so spurred on by it we decided to create our own designs that we could then print on to all of our stationery. The feedback we got was great so we quickly followed these up by designing even more products... personal organizers and credit/business card holders...all of which you'll soon be able to see on this website We really, really love what we do and hope that it comes pouring through...not only on these pages...but in the products themselves.
